1964年、函館の高校⽣だったあがた森魚がラジオから聞いたポップス、及び時代への思いが集約。多幸感あふれる壮⼤なポップス浦島物語となった。60年年代のカルチャーを代表する、横尾忠則がジャケットデザインを手がけ、細野晴臣、緑魔子らが参加。サウンドプロデューサーは窪⽥晴男。ライナーノーツに湯浅学。

1964, Morio Agata, who was a high school student in Hakodate, listened to the pop music on the radio and his thoughts on the times. It became a joyful and magnificent pop Urashima story. Tadanori Yokoo, a representative of the 1960s culture, worked on the jacket design, with Haruomi Hosono and Mako Midori participating. The sound producer is Haruo Kubota. Liner notes written by Manabu Yuasa.
